Some books you finish, others you don’t and then there are some you read over and over. “Life after gunpoint’ is the later for me. It challenges me to think, behave and communicate better. I keep it on my coffee table now as a constant reminder for me to live my best life.

The book was great, bright, light and yet though provoking, a lovely book to leave on the coffee table to ignite discussions on Africa and life’s challenges.

I like this book a lot because the author doesn’t waste time – she cuts to the chase in setting out steps (there are a good number of them) – steps to tread along the path that can lead to inner peace, fulfilment and contentment for the individual.
In a world consumed by narcissism, self aggrandisement and social media addiction a book like this is important and I can see it available in libraries and schools. It’s a world where we need to be reminded that true happiness comes from within.

Delightful in appearance & a real thought provoking tool to stimulate one’s mind in to thinking more positively – wonderfully illustrated/presented & a great coffee table conversation starter that’s too beautiful not to share! 🙂

I had no preconceptions about ‘Life after gunpoint’ other than the author has undergone a traumatic experience and rebuilt herself. This book is for a lifetime, one you can pick up and re-read at anytime in your life. Keeping it simple Gabrielle has gathered a life full of quotes to ponder, inspire and support. Easy on the eye with charming illustrations ‘Life after gunpoint’ is about personal growth and happiness…after all “Always believe that the BEST is yet to come.”

Can I just say what a relief to find somebody that actually understands what they’re talking about on the internet. You certainly realize how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people have to read this and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you are not more popular since you certainly have the gift.
